Rens Newland ist bekannt als rühriger Gitarrist, Komponist, Arrangeur und Produzent mit Holländischen Wurzeln, der seit Jahren unter Österreichischer Flagge operiert. Für dieses Album hat er 16(!) großartige Vokalist(inn)en, die im Laufe der Zeit mit ihm gearbeitet haben, in sein Studio eingeladen. Mit jedem hat er einen auf den Leib geschrieben Solo-Song aufgenommen. “Groove Generation” is the new project by Rens Newland. The very enterprising guitar player, arranger and producer with Dutch roots, operating under Austrian flag for years, shows us what he learned from his cooperation with The Supremes or Gloria Gaynor as musical director: all facets of Groove - Funk, Soul, R&B, Disco and Dance! In intriguingly freshness and energy! The basis are Rens Newland’s funky rhythm-guitars, his compositions and arrangements and, of course, his band! 16(!) vocal solists are featured on this album, who have worked with Rens Newland over the years:
